I cannot emphasise enough how important the practice of meditation is to all areas of your life and how profound its effect is to you, the people surrounding you, their connections and hence the whole world.
I started to meditate daily when I was 17 years old. And I don’t exaggerate when I say that it literally saved my life. Growing up in a world of violence and fear it helped me to understand, to relax, to feel safe, to trust again. It increased my creativity, my solution based way of thinking, taught me how to handle emotions and much much more.
Hence teaching meditation to other people I see, in conclusion, as my duty.
However, I am no indian guru who didn’t do anything else than meditating for the last 20 years. And maybe it’s because of this circumstance that I know exactly how difficult it can be to integrate meditation as a habit into daily life. Especially when you live in the western world, commuting between your office-cubicle and a TV- and internet-equipped city apartment where maybe a partner and kids are waiting to have time for you, right before you finish that presentation for your boss in the middle of the night.
In my meditation courses I help each and every person, no matter of age, gender, position, family situation or challenge to integrate mediation into their life.
